You don’t need to change yourself to have some portraits taken. You don’t need to “better yourself” as if you’re not already good enough to be photographed… -->

You don’t need to loose weight.

You don’t need to have a model background.

You don’t need to be the most confident person in the room.

You don’t need to have “the perfect face” (what even is that???)

You just need to give yourself permission.

To acknowledge your worth. To take up space. To be vulnerable with yourself and be open to experience that side of you that stays silent and hidden.

You just need to remember that you already have everything in you.

You just need to have a desire to see yourself with kinder eyes.

With loving eyes.

You just need to know you’re already worth remembering. ✨❤️. #womenportraiture #womenportraits #mariettaportraitphotographer Thank you Diana for letting me photograph you. It was incredible! @analee.clay

The things we forget:

The peach fuzz on their skin

How tiny their feet were

How they looked at you

The exact sound of their laughter

The curl of their hair

Their tiny noses

Their tiny hands wrapped in your fingers

The craziness of the daily life

The discoveries

Their playfulness

This is why photography matters. 🤍
